WEB DESIGN & CREATION

First Impressions are 94% design related…

But good design is not solely about the way a thing looks. In reality, good design first thinks about how it works. The fact is, if you want your business to really grow and perform at it’s very best, studies reveal that good design really matters. In fact, for many companies, design is the one thing that separates them from their competition. Additionally, 75% of users admit to making judgments about a company’s credibility based on visual design alone(source). The bottom line is that first impressions don’t just paint a pretty picture:

they create real monetary value. There’s a popular saying: “Good design is invisible,” which simply means that design is experienced. It is more than how it looks. Good design may be invisible but poor design is not. Anyone will notice an ugly, hard to read website immediately. A well designed website will look and feel great. It will be clean, clear, smooth and enjoyable. Whether consciously or not, we all react to visuals, and people are naturally drawn to good design. Your website is a reflection of your brand and everything that it stands for.

Frequently asked Questions

For most projects, equal payments are made at the start, midway, and the end of the project, but we can work with you to set up a schedule that meets your needs. We understand that this is a big investment and want to help you budget for the expense in whatever way possible.

The time and focus it takes to build a website is ultimately what will make it successful. And good design is very much a process…which takes time, skill, knowledge and therefore money.

The short answer is: longer than you would expect.

Note that designing and building a website is two completely different things, but they do tend to get used interchangeably .

A typical website will take 14 weeks at a minimum from start to launch. This includes 3 weeks discovery, 6 weeks design, 3 weeks initial development, and 2 weeks of modifications. It could take much longer if you wait until the end to start writing content.

We can, but we won’t. A lot of freelancers and agencies are very talented and can build you a beautiful website in a short amount of time. The reason we choose not too, is because we want to be sure that the finished product actually works. You must factor in proper timing for communication and management, review and feedback, testing and quality control, etc. All these aspects of the project must be given sufficient time.  By saving a little time now, you will inevitably spend a lot more time and money to fix problems that could have been easily avoided with proper planning and timing of all activities. In the end, rushing a project guarantees a loss of quality.
