Crafting a new identity for an established brand
Identity System Design
Le Skin is a well established medical grade skincare clinic that has been operating since 1999. They provide an extensive range of advanced skin treatments, and hosts a fully qualified staff of expert practitioners and registered nurses, using highly advanced technology and equipment. Despite excelling in their field, their brand has not been able to keep up and did not represent the qualities & expertise they offer. The beauty industry is highly competitive. This means that consumers have an abundance of choice, with a high volume of brands competing for their attention.
It was therefor crucial to find a way for their brand to project their values of trust & transparency, as well as a way to convey their expertise, mission, vision and values. We needed to create a solution that allowed them to cut through the noise and leave a lasting imprint on both new & existing customers. Our goal was to create a new, strong concept and consistent brand, as well as creating a new website where the key areas of focus would revolve around clean design, easy navigation, responsiveness and function.
Storm+Storm were responsible for redesigning Le Skin’s online presence, focusing on establishing a lasting impression of quality and safety. Following our recommendation, the majority of their identity was then redesigned with this in mind(except for the logo) Everything from colour palette, typography, brand voice, brand tone, and photo style were defined and implemented. We also designed the website from
the bottom up. We wanted the identity to be rooted in simplicity, easy communication, a professional expression, and a strong focus on the expertise their staff represent.
